Questions and answers

Clixo is a magnetic building toy made of flat, flexible pieces with magnets sealed inside. The pieces click together at almost any angle and bend into curves, so flat shapes become 3D creations: animals, vehicles, hats, bracelets, sculptures. There's no single right answer, so kids build, take it apart and build again.

Magnetic tiles are rigid and mostly build boxes and towers. Clixo pieces bend, wrap and click together at angles, which means curves, wearables and things that move. It's also far lighter and stacks flat, so it travels.

Clixo recommends its packs for ages 4 and up, and the Expedition packs (Mars Rovers, Tropical Birds, Dino Adventure, Dino Discovery) and the Wheel Creator Pack for ages 6 and up. The boxes say "4 to forever" for a reason: grown-ups play too. Clixo contains small magnets and is not suitable for children under 3.

Yes. Every Clixo piece connects to every other Clixo piece, so packs can be mixed freely and a collection grows with your child.

Clixo's magnets are securely embedded inside each piece. Clixo states that its pieces are BPA-free and pass American and European toy safety standards. As with any toy that contains small magnets, keep it away from children under 3 and supervise younger players.

Clixo pieces can be washed in water or put in the dishwasher. They can be used indoors or outdoors. They don't float, so keep them out of the pool.

The pieces are made to bend and hold their shape under strong force, and they won't rip or tear in normal play. If a piece is kept tightly folded for a long time it can crease, so store them flat. Please don't cut them with scissors.

Clixo is designed to be universal, for kids of all ages and abilities. Families and therapists use it for sensory play, as a fidget toy and for fine motor practice. The gentle magnetic click is part of the appeal.
